For Individuals

STRENGTHS-BASED COACHING

“Coachability” is increasingly seen as one of the most valuable attributes of an executive or emerging executive.

Everyone has areas for growth. We think of them in three ways….

  1. Often, the greatest potential for growth lies in an area that is already a strength for the individual, but one which the individual has either not fully realized, or is not fully exploiting.  Talented, driven people can often lose sight of their natural strengths because they tend to perform well at anything to which they devote energy and focus.  Working with a coach on strengths can yield the fastest, most significant results.
  2. A second area for growth can be in addressing a blind spot. And because the individual is either unaware of it, or is unaware of the full impact of it, this can be a productive area in which to work with a coach.
  3. The third area of growth involves addressing those specific skills which need to be refined or expanded as an individual moves through his or her career, particularly when they transition to roles with increased accountability and visibility.  Examples include:
  • transitioning from an effective presenter to executive presence
  • transitioning from being effective with people to successfully managing multiple, complex relationships, internally and externally
